Ashelee has handled over a thousand criminal cases and has spent her career in a courtroom with various judges, attorneys, and advocates. Ashelee graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Community Health Education and Business Management. She then attended the University of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland where she graduated with a J.D. and magna cum laude honors.
During law school, Ashelee interned with the Maryland Court of Appeals and the Maryland Attorney General. She also worked for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in the area of Environmental Law. While there, Ashelee worked tirelessly
to clean up the Chesapeake Bay by holding large corporations responsible for their waste. Before graduating from law school, Ashelee interned with the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington D.C. and prosecuted as a student attorney for the Howard County State’s Attorney.
After graduating from law school, Ashelee was hired by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in Phoenix, Arizona. Ashelee handled hundreds of cases from DUI misdemeanors and traffic violations to serious felony charges including Homicide. Ashelee was given high accolades during her time with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office and quickly advanced to a more serious caseload.
